Yahoo! oneConnect

One thing that has seemingly been missing from the Apple iPhone App Store was an application that would bring everything together. I recently stumbled upon Yahoo! oneConnect and believe it may just be that missing link.

There are some things good and some things bad about this application as there seems to be with nearly any application. I have noticed it tends to crash quite a bit when trying to install the extra avatar features. However, if you press through the crashes and focus on getting things setup with oneConnect you will find it's a nifty little app.

OneConnect is an application that brings all of your contacts together from all of your social networks. It has Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Last.fm, Friendster, Flickr, Dopplr, and even Bebo integrated into it.

Another cool thing oneConnect has is the ability to create your own custom avatar. The avatar is a full bodied 3-dimensional avatar. Although, more options would be great this is what was crashing the application.

The best thing about oneConnect is the ability to update your status. When you update your status it acts much like Ping.fm in that it will post your status to all of your accounts. This means you can have a one stop shop to post to all your social networks with one post.

I am definitely keeping oneConnect installed on my iPhone and I am looking forward to see what kind of new features come along with future updates to the App.

I would also like to mention that the cost of this application is way undervalued at the price of Free!
